Product Manager

Paragonix Technologies markets organ transportation devices that safeguard organs during the journey between donor and recipient patients. Our devices incorporate clinically proven and medically trusted hypothermic preservation techniques in a novel suspension system to provide unprecedented physical and thermal protection. Our product portfolio spans cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal preservation devices to improve donor organ quality and extend donor organ transport time. Paragonix also markets transplant services and organ screening to the transplant community. The Product Manager will be responsible for influencing product strategy and product requirements through voice-of-the-customer research, developing in-depth knowledge of organ transplantation science and literature, and collaborating with our engineering, commercial field team and end transplant users. The successful candidate thrives in a fast?paced environment in which constant ambiguity is viewed as an opportunity for both advancing the field of transplantation and growing professionally. The initial focus of the role with be on the physical organ preservation platforms and may evolve over time. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Refine and execute product roadmap, serving as key link between sales, clinical, medical affairs, R&D, software developers, marketing, manufacturing, and operations Partner closely with device research and development team and digital development teams, serving as advocate for external customers and internal stakeholders throughout development and product life cycle Conduct primary and secondary market research to inform direction on existing programs and future strategies, focusing on abdominal transplant and digital portfolios Plan and execute user feedback studies in partnership with R&D through development process Continuously partner closely with commercial sales and clinical support team to identify new tactical and strategic opportunities to drive growth Monitor competitive activity through review of clinical, financial, regulatory, and intellectual property filings Lead knowledge?sharing sessions following attendance at clinical conferences, webinars, and educational events to drive organizational learning and proactively shape commercial strategy and next?generation product development, ensuring insights from emerging industry trends directly inform business and innovation initiatives. Collaborate with cross?functional leadership and team members to ensure effective market launch and continuous improvement throughout product lifecycles POSITION REQUIREMENTS At least 2 years of professional experience in product management and/or front?end innovation Bachelors degree in life sciences technical field (biomedical engineering, biology, biochemistry, public health, etc.) Fundamental understanding of biology or human anatomy Strong understanding of medical device development process A needs?driven training or experience (BioDesign, Jobs to Be Done, or similar framework) highly preferred High attention to detail, especially in the front?end innovation cycle, with an emphasis on tying raw observations and insights to specific design inputs to inform product development and lifecycle decisions Comfortable engaging and interacting with experts from diverse skillsets and cultural backgrounds Excellent interpersonal relationships, with the ability to adapt communication style based on context and individual High level of comfort with developing, interpreting, and communicating complex technical information with impactful visualizations and supporting data. Demonstrated ability and/or interest in working in a fast?paced, matrixed organization that requires quick response to changing market demands.
