About Belden Construction, LLC:

Role Overview:

The Crane Operator will operate wheeled and tracked cranes on various construction sites, ensuring efficient and safe handling of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate wheeled and tracked cranes safely on construction sites.
  • Lift, position, and place equipment or materials as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the crane.
  • Comply with company, federal, and state safety standards.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members for efficient workflow.
  • Adhere to lift plans and signal instructions from riggers.
  • Understand and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of experience operating similar heavy equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications such as NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) or equivalent.
  • OSHA certification for crane operation.
  • Familiarity with rigging and hoisting procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
