The Receptionist is responsible for the operation of the front reception area, including answering of telephone and directing calls, supply ordering, and coordination of incoming and outgoing mail and shipments. Provides administrative and clerical support to the Accounting Department, Director of Resident Engagement and Development and Office Manager..

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. - Answer telephones promptly and directs calls appropriately.
- Greet visitors and directs them to the appropriate person.
- Sort incoming mail and distributes.
- Maintain, distribute facility directories and telephone listings.
- Maintain and order office supplies, copy paper, kitchen supplies, mailing labels and delivery service supplies.
- Place service calls for copiers and postage machines.
- Maintain a postage balance in postage meter; change date on meter daily.
- Assumes responsibility for designated clerical and receptionist duties at front desk.
- Receives incoming telephone calls, screens for correct transfer and connects with appropriate party.
- Greets and directs visitors; greets, screens and directs salespersons as advised.
- Monitors for building safety and initiates emergency response when necessary.
- Coordinates with maintenance department to ensure building is properly maintained.
- Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail; receives and routes package deliveries
