Airswift is looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer to work with a major client in Ingleside, TX on a 6-month assignment. Responsibilities: • Develop and Execute all Commissioning Activities for WWR project. • Respond to Sign Site Queries as much as possible in a Timely manager the verify closure with the Engineer on Record • Act as technical resource to Main Power, Gas Compression, Rotating Equipment, Diesel Engines and Water Injection systems. This includes completing assigned maintenance work orders and preparing/revising operating procedures and other technical documents for assigned systems. • Participate in monitoring operation of major rotating equipment systems to maximize uptime. • Provide weekly updates to line manager • Data for input into Hexagon Smart Completions to log any deficiencies to be corrected Requirements: • Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with a variety of people/disciplines both internal and external to CVE. • Able to work collaboratively within a team environment, as well as maintain effectiveness in varying environments and with different tasks, responsibilities, and people. • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, and MS Project. • Working knowledge of Smart Completions software from Hexagon is preferable. • Able to read and understand P&IDs, PFDs, ISOs and technical specifications • Able to understand and use CMS databases, preferably Hexagon • Experience in working with construction contractors at their facility during the building and commissioning of the facilities. • Prior Construction and Commissioning Experience in a Similar Role • Minimum 7 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering Operations and/or Rotating Equipment support role with solid understanding of Management of Change. • Working knowledge of ASME and API codes and standards • Strong knowledge of Rotating Equipment including Power Generators, Gas Compressors, Pumps, Engines, etc. • Knowledge of rotating equipment condition monitoring software.
