JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE : SPORTS BOOK SUPERVISOR – Dual Rate DEPARTMENT:

Sports Book #113-000 REPORTS TO : Sports Book Manager

TASKS : • Responsible for the activities of the ticket writers in the Sports Book. • Responsible for all Treasure Bay guests and responding to their needs. • Expected to mentor and provide leadership through example. • Monitors transactions to insure integrity and compliance with established policies, procedures, and Mississippi Gaming Commission guidelines. • Will be trained and regularly tested on Title 31 regulations and will be required to enforce and monitor all activities covered by these regulations. • Closely monitors all paperwork for accuracy. • Responsible for overseeing the Ticket Writers check in and check out procedures, writing tickets, paying out tickets, recording large transactions according to the appropriate logs and making sure that tickets are written within the established limits. • Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe work environment by actively participating in its upkeep and reporting any maintenance issues. • At the discretion of management, may be assigned to special projects or activities.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED: •

Must have ticket writing experience • Ability to complete paperwork accurately and efficiently. • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills are necessary. • Occurrence balance must be under 8.0 as of the deadline date listed below. • Attendance and procedure files will be reviewed. Requires a Mississippi Gaming license.
