Join our supportive and amazing team We are looking for a positive and self-motivated consulting dietitian. As a Crandall Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to work with senior living communities to enhance the resident's food and nutrition experience. This involves auditing sanitation, meal service, staff development, and completing assessments on residents that have nutritional concerns. You will become a key member of the dietary team. We are looking for dietitians to provide part-time services to Assisted Living Communities by providing semi-annual audits (4 hours per community/semi-annually). Perks and BenefitsExtensive dietitian training (online videos), plus a live Quick Start TrainingExcellent systems - Crandall has all the forms, policies, and documents you need for successNational corporate support with Regional & Divisional Leaders across the nationPart-Time flexible work schedule (quarterly community visits)Quarterly conference calls providing a summary of updates on current standardsTrainings providing Continuing Education Credits (CEU)Dietitian visits are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm local timeDepending on location multiple consulting opportunities may be availableSick-time benefits as required by individual state law.Key Responsibilities:Provide dietary services following state and federal laws and regulationsQuality and regulatory assurance review/audits of Food/Nutrition Services, sanitation, food storage, preparation, and dining services according to national standardsClinical Charting (if required in states or corporations) weights, new admits, high-risk chartingNutrition education and in-service training for staff development and regulatory compliance Implementation of the plan of correctionsPreferred Qualifications:Strong but friendly communication skills both written & verbalSomeone who works well individually and in a team environmentKnowledge of basic computer programsAbility to keep sensitive information/data confidential under HIPAA guidelinesRequired:Bachelors Degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related fieldMust be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and provide annual verificationState Dietary License if required by stateMaintain current licensure as required by State lawCOVID-19 Vaccination or medical/religious exemption per state/corporation guidelinesCurrent TB TestWe love referrals: This job may not be for you, but perhaps you have a friend or colleague who would be a perfect fit, please share this opportunity with them.Crandall Corporate Dietitians is the nation's largest dietitian firm providing consulting and menu services to the senior living industry.
