Stress Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturing - Onsite What you will be doing: Perform stress analysis and determine allowable flight and ground handling loads for aircraft cargo restraints. Interface loads reports per FAA regulations. Conduct preprocessing of part geometry and meshing using FEMAP for design validation. What you need to qualify: Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering required. 15 years' Stress Engineering experience or as an engineer in the aerospace industry, conducting tests, performing analysis and producing test plans for compliance with FAA regulations. Or, Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 8 years' Stress Engineering experience or as an engineer in the aerospace industry, conducting tests, performing analysis & producing test plans for compliance with FAA regulations.
