Job Summary

Hours: Split Shift- Opening shift 7:00 am -9:00 am and 2nd shift 11:00 am -5:30 pm

Assist the Director to plan, organize, control and direct Extended Day/Preschool programs, activities and operations; ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; ensure fiscal stability Extended Day and Preschool programs; provide instructional leadership; supervise the performance of assigned personnel.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Experience: Any combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates possession of the knowledges and abilities stated above, and the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Education: Bachelor's degree in education or related field.

Experience: Five years increasingly responsible experience in the administration and oversight of Extended Day Program or other preschool/extended day setting.

License(s), certifications or other requirements:
•Any current permit, credential or waiver authorizing services as a site supervisor in Extended Day/Preschool Programs.
•Fifteen (15) hours of training on preventive health practices.

SELECTION PROCEDURES
The Selection Process is open to all qualified applicants. To be considered for an employment opportunity with MBUSD, it is necessary for you to complete an official District Application. The application is part of the selection process and is part of your total evaluation of acceptability for employment.
For those candidates who meet the minimum qualifications, the selection process will consist of any one or more of the following: Screening for the most qualified candidates includes, Training and Experience Evaluation, Reference Checks, Written Test and/or a Performance Test, and an Oral Interview. Additional information pertaining to the exam process will be emailed to those candidates who meet the minimum qualifications.
