Job Summary : This position will head up the engineering team in a new and growing division of the company. In addition to providing hands-on engineering for the division, this role will be responsible for managing all engineering-related tasks and efforts. It is anticipated that the engineering team will continue to grow as the division grows. This position will report to the General Manager of the division. Essential Responsibilities

: Perform programming of Recloser Controllers (Relays) from SEL, Beckwith, Siemens, etc. Provide programming, commissioning, training, support, and maintenance of our Smart Automation Module DFDIR/FLISR software solution for automating the electric grid. Provide engineering support on the recloser product line. This is mainly oriented around the control cabinet but will require learning/understanding of the electrical signals coming from the recloser. Assist in the development and maintenance of automated production test equipment Assist in the development, training, support, and maintenance of the test solution products provided to our customer base. Provide training to our customers on the recloser, cabinets, and recloser controller (relays) Provide assistance in troubleshooting hardware/firmware issues, including connecting to hardware devices and running debugging tools to determine the root cause of the issue. Provide support to our customers on any of the above-mentioned technologies Manage all engineering tasks, efforts, and resources. This includes responsibility to ensuring completion of tasks against a schedule by coordinating the efforts of all available resources. Manage our application engineering group. This is the group that performs all job drawings, customer drawings, statement of works, bill of materials, and performs procurement functions. Some travel required not expected to exceed 25% Minimum Qualifications: Education: BS in Electric Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science oriented major, or equivalent. Experience: 5+ years of experience. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access. Preferred (not required) Qualifications: Outgoing personality to serve on front line of customer experience Previous knowledge of distribution power grid Previous knowledge of SEL relays Previous experience with Distribution Automation (FLISR) technology Previous experience with HTML based programming Previous experience with JAVA based programming Previous experience with TOMCAT/APACHE Previous experience with Reclosers
