Apply today to see how MedStar Health can be your next career move Primary Duties Assist physicians in procedures such as needle biopsies, amniocentesis, and renal biopsies. Perform scans, mark patients body, determine puncture angles, assist as needed, and maintain sterile technique. Generate computer images or film, evaluate image quality. Clearly and accurately document patient clinical information verbally and in reports. Maintain records of examination data and pertinent patient information. Secure and return supplies such as film, linens, medicine, and patient folders. Select and operate equipment as directed, adjusting technical factors per patient. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. At least 2 years of diagnostic or ultrasound experience or graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program (registry eligible) with certification in Diagnostic Sonography by ARDMS within 1 year. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Certification in Diagnostic Sonography by ARDMS within 1 year preferred. This position offers a hiring range of $34.98 - $62.52.
