The Credit Analyst supports Wintrust’s Community Advantage department in the underwriting, analysis, and approval process of credit requests, and the monitoring of the existing loan portfolio.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform credit analysis (RAC’s) and proposals for prospective customers

  • Create Lead Letters for prospective clients and add customer information into CRM

  • Prepare and review Credit Committee presentations and present at Internal Credit Committee meetings as needed

  • Prepare loan proposal letters, Commitment Letters, or Adverse Action Notices

  • Prepare, review, and monitor ACH renewal CAP’s and annual reviews

  • Input and assist with tracking of all annual servicing information through Moody’s and run reports to track servicing items. Send out annual reporting requests as needed

  • Maintain key credit and deposit relationships by answering customer calls and inquiries

  • Update loan administration reports and Community Advantage website as needed

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ banking experience with a focus on credit analysis or underwriting preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical, organization, and time management skills with a keen attention to detail

  • Employee is expected have a basic knowledge of commercial loan documentation, market and industry risks, and regulatory requirements
