SUMMARY
:
Our client is seeking a talented JD Edwards professional to support and enhance our JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP system. This enterprise-wide role will support system implementations, configurations, integrations, and process improvements as well as troubleshoot daily system and business process issues. The IT Manager and SME that supports JDE currently works in the PA office. This role would be the subject-matter-expert for all things JD Edwards for all users in South Carolina. The company has 6 locations in South Carolina. The System Administrator will be based in the Charleston area where 80% of the staff works. They may be required to do light travel around the other SC locations for user training. The organization is using
J.D. Edwards OneWorld to support their SCM Processes, including Sales Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, MRP, Warehousing, Distribution and Transportation.
Responsibilities :
Configure and customize JD Edwards modules to meet business requirements.
Testing, documentation, and end-user training.
Conduct business process reviews to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Implement and maintain system enhancements and integrations.
Lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
Provide tier 1 user support hands-on support of daily, monthly and annual processes.
Cross-support with IT Manager, as needed.
Required Experience :
7 plus years of JDE experience (EnterpriseOne 9.0 or higher)
Windows and SQL database experience
Strong analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage several tasks at once and prioritize accordingly.
Ability to understand user requirements and translate them into system functionality.
Familiarity with Business Objects, BI Publisher, Orchestrator, Qlikview, Hubble, and JDE mobile apps are a plus.
Must be a team player and proactive in terms of system improvements
