You're a great writer, with two superpowers: You can write for businesses talking to businesses as well as brands talking to consumers. You find that discovering creative solutions is both fascinating and equally inspiring. And the work you've done proves it.

You're a concept-driven copywriter. You love starting a project from scratch as much as evolving an existing idea. You turn complex information into clear and engaging content. You bring humanity to technical spaces. And your talent knows no bounds, because you can write amazing promo campaigns, sales decks, emails, web copy and even the occasional award entry. You're a team player. A researcher. An information condenser. A sound bite maker.

You're extremely organized and able to juggle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. And, you love coffee and tea and refreshers especially ones made by Starbucks and Seattle's Best Coffee and all of the portfolio of food and beverages made under the Nestl Coffee Partners company which will be your primary client.

  • Write concise, compelling and conversational copy for B2B and B2C audiences
  • Write fluidly between print, social, web content and promotion
  • Think like a business to create long- & short- form needs
  • Collaborate closely with strategists, designers and other writers
  • Develop deep mastery of brands and categories assigned
  • Present compellingly
  • Maintain brand voice and tone across all executions
  • Ensure conceptual and quality alignment with senior Creative leads
  • Ideate and implement creative that aligns with annual strategies, short-term campaigns and always-on content to drive engagement and achieve established success metrics
  • Proactively bring ideas to the table, have a POV and get deliverables across the finish line
  • Build strong internal relationships as well as a trusting rapport with clients
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • 3-5 years of experience writing business- and consumer-facing long- and short-form content
  • A strong portfolio of professional and/or speculative creative work with examples of writing/thinking to demonstrate abilities is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Comfortable working remotely via platforms like Microsoft Teams, Google Workplace, Slack, etc.
