Credit Specialist

The Credit Specialist monitors what has been contracted, invoiced, and paid. He/she works closely with operations and customers to resolve discrepancies; Receipt payments for credit customers; researches credit history on new customer accounts and makes recommendations for approval or not; and reviews customer accounts that are past due/over the credit limit. Responsibilities: Monitors unpaid invoices and maintain relationship with assigned customers to maximize collections efforts. Processes commercial credit applications, research credit history and make recommendation of credit approval. Prepares & monitors Corporate Aging reports for management Reconciles accounts receivable related to the General Ledger and works closely with operations and customers to resolve discrepancies Review and reconcile customer accounts that are past due or over the credit limit. Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor. Requirements: High School Diploma Minimum three to five years of credit and collections work experience involving following up with financial institutions and customer for payments Minimum 2 years of general accounting experience, including reconciliations and revenue accounting Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and Adobe Acrobat Typing 35 wpm Strong verbal and written communication skills Analytical, detail oriented, customer savvy, organized, and professional About Servco: At Servco, we’re committed to providing valuable mobility solutions to empower people through the freedom of movement and opportunity.
