Job Title: Purchasing Expeditor

Job Description

The Purchasing Expeditor supports Purchasing. They will possess excellent documentation, organization, and communication skills and the ability to quickly learn and improve existing operations, systems, and methods. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage receipt of PO confirmations.

Manage confirmations to confirm that price and delivery dates are accurate.

Scan and attach documents to both electronic and hard copies of PO.

Notify Planner/Buyer of any issues with PO details (pricing, dates, quantities, etc.)

Track open orders to ensure on-time delivery.

Update system PO with notes and changes.

Report delivery status in daily Production meetings.

Place MRO and Expense POs from purchase requisitions.

Contact Suppliers on past due POs and reschedule receipts accordingly.

Assist in reconciliation of invoice, receiving, or other discrepancies with PO.

Manage and follow-up on open DMR (discrepant material reports) and supplier corrective actions.

Generate monthly supplier OTD reports for quarterly scorecards.

Support internal customers in a timely and professional manner.

Remain current on all Controlled Document levels.
