QUALITY SUPERVISORTRAVERSE CITY, MIAs a member of the Quality team, the Quality Supervisor will be responsible for communicating with and representing the needs of the customer relative to product information, quality requirements (e. g. special characteristics, quality objectives and related training), inquires, corrective action requests and feedback, including complaints. Ensure that product quality is attained through the fulfillment of customer requirements, and establish/maintain internal quality system documentation (FMEAs, control plans, work instructions, etc.) necessary to satisfy customer requirements. The Quality Supervisor will coordinate the timely investigation and closure of customers/supplier corrective and preventative action activities. They will generate the necessary data to identify and implement defect-reductions activities.The Role:Your work will include, but not be limited to: Positively enforce company policies, procedures, and work instructions Positively assist in the development/achievement of company and departmental goals and objectives APQP Activities Assist in development FMEAs, control Plans, Quality Standards, Packaging Plans, and other documentation as identified and required PPAP Activities Audit dimensional/ILD inspections per customer requirements Special Event (SER) Activities Perform dimensional/ILD inspection activities as requested Engineering Changes Actively participate in the research/communication of engineering changes and requirement. Problem Solving/corrective & Preventative Action Activities Assist in the investigation of and closure of customer /supplier 8D's as assigned Monitor Inspection Activities Communicate inspection results to necessary individuals Maintain part template storage system to ensure templates easily stored/obtained Maintain test buck storage system to ensure bucks are easily stored/obtained Maintain/Update inspection work instructions and data sheets Perform assist in assigned internal audits as an auditor/auditeeYour Qualifications:Knowledge of: 8D Database APQP/CP (Advances Product Quality Planning/Control TS16949 and ISO14001 Continual Improvement Process Corrective and Preventative Action Environmental management system overview Gage Control/Analysis (R&R) Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) Orientation PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) Problem Solving Quality Management System Overview Returned Goods Analysis SPC Supervision Training Effectiveness: Supervisor Responsibility Knowledge of Automotive Supplier Requirements (Experience may substituted for advanced education) Excellent customer interaction skills Excellent oral and written presentations skills Team Oriented Data-drivenBonus If You Have: A bachelor's degree in a related field or 5yrs of experienceLear Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse workplace.Applicants must submit their resume for consideration using our applicant tracking system.
