Concierge/SecurityThe Lathrop Community, a Kendal affiliate with locations in Easthampton and Northampton has a part time opportunity available immediately at our Easthampton location. Our current available position is 8 hours a week with a set schedule of every Saturday and Sunday from 8AM to 4PM. This position is part of an operation that is requires 24/7 coverage. Holiday and weekend coverage is required, additional hours may be available to cover vacations, holidays and call-outs. Coverage can include shifts that span 12:00am to 8:00am, 8:00am to 4:00pm and 4:00pm to 12:00am. This position is a key part of the Resident Services Department.The ideal candidate will have the ability to offer a warm and professional welcome to residents, visitors and staff upon entering and are often the first point of contact.Primary duties includeGreeting and collecting guest details upon entry and ensuring all visitors have a visitor badge.Answering and directing calls on a multiline phone system.Securing doors and windows as well as completing multiple internal security sweeps of the buildingResponsible as first point of contact for all emergency calls including pendant alerts, pull-cords, burglar and fire alarms as well as evacuation procedures.Monitor maintenance requests and contact on-call staff dependent on situation, file workorders as neededSupport administrative functions of the Resident Services Department as requested.Hourly pay range for this opportunity is $17.50-$20.00.This position is eligible for MA sick time, EAP and 403B.
