Leadingthe execution of performance tests scheduled during his or her respectiveshift. This includes:
Ensuringall team members properly fulfill their roles
Reviewingthe results of tests Leading the triage of issues, escalating where necessary
Thisrole is basically technical facilitation and management.A good fit candidate is a technician whoseinterested in transitioning to management
Ableto work in shift /including weekends as well ( Timings 7am - 3pm , 3p - 11 pmEST )
-Having a good experience of leading a Team ( 2-3 people)
-Good experince of managing the a large Performance Testing enviornment
-Good Knowledge of Java and Unix
-Havingan experience on handling a customer, and good experience on providing regularupdates to customer
-Good time-management skills
-Greatinterpersonal and communication skills
-Having knowledge of oracle technologies Oracle 11g and PL/SQL (Understanding ofQuery plans, AWR Reports etc.)
-Having understanding of performance testing (like CPU Utilizations, Responsetime, network latency, think time etc.).
-Having good data collection/analysis/compilation/data comparison/datapresentation skills.
-Having knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies.
-Understanding of and experience is leading development efforts on the J2EEplatform. This is most important technical requirement.
-Oracle DBMS for OLTP systems
-Basic performance testing concepts
-Conceptual understanding of systems architecture
-Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
-Ability t o apply technical knowledge and experiences to facilitate theresolution of various technical issues. Does not have to solve them alone, butmust be able to lead a group of SMEs from different disciplines in order toarrive at a solution
- Having good communication/presentation skillsrequired for customer interaction
