As aLogistics Consultant,you will execute full sales lifecycleprocesses from pre-work,detailed discovery conversations, andinformative meetings in order to identify the needs of prospective clientsand perform as a trusted advisor for their forwarding needs. Requirements: + Minimum 1 years' experience in a freight forwarding role isrequired. + Previous experiencedirectly selling oceanand/or airservices is preferred. + Previousexperience using CargoWise One ERP system is preferred. + Entrepreneurial spirit; team player; problem solver. + High emotional intelligence and communication skills. + Professional email and phone etiquette. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word andExcel. Responsibilities: + Seek out new clients and establish a book of business through prospecting and networking (cold calling, electronic media, seminars, trade shows, in-person presentations, etc.). + Present OEC Group's service offers:Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage. + Meet monthly revenue quotas given by Sales management(based off monthlysalary). + Collaborate with CRM Specialists to createsales presence in localmarket. + Maintaincommunication with internal teams as well asoverseasoffices. + Travel locally for client meetings and presentations. Salary: + $22-$28/hour basesalary + uncapped sales commission. Base salary dependent on industry and salesexperience.
