Description

Join our team at Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester, NH, where we strive to meet the medical, social, and spiritual needs of our residents. As a 120-bed facility, we offer short and long-term care in a warm and supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are proud to be a part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire's continuum of care.

We are currently seeking a Lead Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Housekeepers and ensuring that our facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. This position will work 37.5 hours/week, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the Housekeeping staff and ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards

- Train and supervise Housekeeping staff to ensure that they are performing their duties effectively and efficiently

- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned on a regular basis

- Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

- Ensure that all safety and infection control procedures are followed

Requirements

•High School diploma or GED

•Minimum two (2) years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a housekeeping setting (long-term care facility preferred)

•Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

•Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
