DescriptionSummaryUnder limited supervision, the Concession Stand Attendant is responsible for performing various operational and support tasks pertaining to the operation of the Patsy Winn Sports Complex concession stands, including, but not limited to, food and beverage selling, customer service, answering customer inquiries, maintaining cleanliness, and accurate cash handling in a fast, friendly, and professional manner. Distinguishing Career FeaturesThe Concession Stand Attendant is responsible for providing excellent service to all customers in a concession stand setting. This includes cash handling, food and beverage preparation and sales, answering customer inquiries, maintaining a clean and presentable environment, and assisting in resolving customer and facility issues. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Lead Concession Stand Attendant and Sports Complex Manager, who will review work primarily based on results attained and on the accomplishment of outlined objectives and goals. Supervision is provided to on-site and support staff.RequirementsEssential Duties and Responsibilities Maintains concessions and register areas clean and orderly.Assists with collection and disposal of litter, and light facility maintenance, including, but not limited to restrooms, walkways, picnic tables, and like areas.Prep food in accordance with local health code regulations.Prep concessions for daily use.Greets customers in a friendly manner and provides excellent customer service.Operates POS system and maintains an accurate cash drawer.Performs basic math functions to collect payments, provide accurate change, and to prepare petty cash at the beginning and/or end of shift.Sale of concession items including soft drinks and food items.Records sales and receipts within the concessions.Completes the daily duties assigned and any other duties assigned by the supervisor. Provides information about Patsy Winn Sports Complex use, rules, and regulations.Responsible for opening and closing procedures of the concessions. Switches on and off all necessary concession appliances and equipment. Performs day-to-day responsibilities while on site to include general janitorial duties, cleaning equipment, and light maintenance. Performs other duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.
