In this role, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and resolution of electrical engineering problems, with a focus on manufacturing feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency. You will work on moderately complex electrical equipment, conduct technical evaluations, and provide support to manufacturing and assembly teams.Responsibilities:Design and modify moderately complex electrical equipment for paper processing systems.Conduct thorough testing and debugging of equipment to identify and isolate defects.Utilize CAD tools to create layouts, schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of material (BOM).Evaluate and integrate new parts into designs, considering performance and cost.Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams throughout the production process.Maintain organized project files to ensure accurate documentation and traceability.Offer on-site technical assistance to field teams as needed, fostering strong customer relationships.Interpret moderately complex electrical schematics and mechanical assembly layouts with precision.Apply excellent logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues effectively.Apply knowledge of manufacturing methods, electrical design principles, and project management best practices.Required Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.2+ years of experience in electrical engineering in a manufacturing, production or military environment.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing electrical design, such as NEC, IEC, and UL requirements.#LI-SG1At Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
