Our business strategy leverages world-class technologies, motivated and talented people, and high-quality products.Our Mission is to make people's lives better by:Delivering outstanding quality products and services to our customers;Providing meaningful opportunity, job satisfaction, and job security for our people;Being positive contributors to our communities; and,Providing superior long-term investment returns to our stakeholders.Our strength is our peopleWe invite you to follow your dreams and explore a challenging and rewarding career at Martinrea.Job Summary: Troubleshoot and perform tooling repairs and adjustments of production machinery and equipment, including preventative maintenanceRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or G.E.D.Prefer with a Journeyman Tool & Die CertificateMinimum five years experience as Tool & Die Maker or experience repairing and modifying stamping dies.Experience with large transfer dies, deep draw dies, progressive dies, welding fixtures, and quality check fixtures.Operate all Die Room Equipment, Lathes, Grinders, Bridgeports, Drill Presses, etcDemonstrate tool & die knowledge through a job interview and proficiency exercise.Crane certification Forklift licenseEssential Functions:The Tool & Die Technical Associate will troubleshoot die and press issues ensuring they are addressed in an accurate and timely manner for continued productionThey will confirm performance of die by installing die, inspecting operation of die, making adjustments and comparing finished product to specificationsThe Tool & Die Technical Associate will be able to read and understand blue prints in order to develop and create tools and dies to meet the specifications and needs of internal and external customersThey will conduct preventative maintenance on all tools and diesThey will promote and maintain a positive team environment. Keeping their supervisor and other team members informed of progress, issues and/or concernsThe Tool & Die Technical Associate will operate conventional tool room machines, CNC experience will be a plusThe Tool & Die Technical Associate will measure parts to specification and have a basic working knowledge of GD&TThey will maintain a clean and safe work areaThey will follow all OSHA and company safety policies and proceduresThe Tool & Die Technical Associate will operate an overhead crane
