The successful candidate will be detail oriented, dependable, and responsible for operating a variety of CNC equipment along with manual machines. The ideal candidate for the CNC Machine Operator position should have experience operating CNC and manual machines as well as be familiar with quality inspection tools. The Operator must be a team player, committed to delivering the best quality to our customers and maintain a clear work area managed to 5S Standards Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Operate a variety of CNC turning and milling centers with Fanuc controls, including manual machines. Ability to read drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions. Understanding of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines is a plus. Use quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauge, and height gages. Continually inspects parts for high quality and records applicable information as required. Read and interpret work instruction. Follow safety procedures. Keep work area neat, clean, and organized. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ? High school diploma or equivalent. Additional trade school education in machining preferred. Able to read and follow SOPs, labels, instructions, and blueprints. Previous manufacturing CNC machine operator experience required (1-2 years a plus). Have machine shop/metal working skills. Be comfortable working with close tolerances (thousandths) Ability to setup your own jobs and run first part (training provided) Must also be familiar with various types of gauging and measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, plug gauges, bore gauges etc. Able to perform quality inspections that will produce parts that conform to required specifications of the blueprint. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $18.00 to $24.00 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week 52wks)) for this position, is $41,100.00 to $54,900.00.
