IAM engineer

Job Title IAM//Okta Architect Relevant Experience Years 8+ years in Identity and Access Management technologies.
5+ years in Okta covering planning, architecture, design, implementations, integrations and migrations for CIAM and Workforce access management use cases.
At least 2 end-to-end Okta implementation project experience Tools •Okta - Must Have
•JavaScript development, Okta APIs, Okta Hooks, Okta SDK, OIDC, OAuth2 - Must Have
•Directories/LDAP - Must Have
•RDBMS/SQL, PowerShell, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting - Must Have
•Networking, DNS
•Okta Certification - Consultant, Developer, Technical Architect - Good to Have Skills •In depth understanding of Okta components, services and dependencies
•Previous experience leading Okta architecture and design, Okta environment setup, configuration and deployment activities
•Expertise with Okta Single Sign On, Multi Factor Authentication and authenticators, Adaptive MFA, Univeral Directory, API Access Management, application integration and configuration.
•Expertise with Okta APIs, Okta Hooks, Okta SDKs and integrating applications and third party services with Okta
•Expertise with various OAuth2 Flows supported in Okta, Custom Authorization Servers, SAML Federations, OpenID Connect, SCIM integrations
•Knowledge and experience with consent management and identity proofing using Okta for customer iam use cases
•Previous experience in Okta implementation, workflows and integrations with applications, directories, databases and synchronization
•Previous experience preparing implementation plans with detailed activities and dependencies
•Good knowledge and experience working with REST APIs, SDKs, Directories, Databases, SQL, PowerShell, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
•Should be methodical with attention to details
•Skilled in coordinating and communicating with other teams to manage dependencies on other teams and stakeholders
•Skilled in anticipating problems and roadblocks and effectivley communicating and managing them
•Excellent communication skills with team leadership ability
•Excellent client facing and presentation skills.
•Ability to work under fixed timelines and meet deadlines Roles & Responsibilities •Work closely with customer business and technical team to understand current landscape, use cases, gather requirements and plan Okta Setup and Integration activities
•Prepare phased project plan, implementation plan and activities for Okta
•Prepare Architecture, HLD and LLD for Okta Env. and Integrations
•Okta environment setup, configuration, security, policies, deployment and integration activities
•Guiding application development teams on using Okta APIs, Okta Hooks, Okta SDKs to integrate their applications with Okta
•Plan, design and implement customer self-registration, identity proofing, progressive profiling and consent management with clearly defined processes
•Work with internal Infrastructure, Application, Business teams and external third party teams for Okta integrations
•Plan, Architect, Design and implement API, directory and database integrations and synchronization
•Set up and configure SAML Federation with third party IdPs for SSO
•Set up and configure custom authorization servers for API access management
•Set up and configure custom user and customer journeys with identity orchestration and workflows
•Prepare Okta env. and configuration documentation
