OverallDescription: The Engineering Administrator will support the maintenance and E&I departmentsby ensuring stock level of parts for PM's and MI's are available when needed.The position is responsible forobtaining quotations for parts, receiving, and storing them in the warehouse.The role also provides procurement support for the mechanical and E&Idepartment, as well as production, and the SHE group using SAP. This rolealso provides inventory management for the maintenance warehouse. This role willprovide support of mechanical integrity, control of maintenance documents,and records. The role will a support engineering andmaintenance with contractor control as needed.
MainResponsibilities:

Procurement
Obtain competitive bids for parts forthe maintenance group, production, labs, and SHE department.
Procure parts and services utilizingSAP for the maintenance group, production, labs, and the SHE groups.
Collaborate with accounts payable tomake corrections to purchase orders or issue new purchase orders againstopen invoices.
Researching and obtaining pricing forpotential replacement parts to reduce lead times and work towardsreducing additional inventory.
Maintenance Support:
Maintain stock levels in themaintenance warehouse.
Work closely with maintenance to ensureparts needs.
Manage deliveries and deliver to partswarehouse for storage.
Manage the hose database for the plant.
Support the electronic filing ofcompleted work orders.
Experiencerequired: Minimum of 5 years' experience in themaintenance field preferably in chemical manufacturing environment.Experience with SAP. Strong organizational skills are a must for thisposition. Experience working with maintenance and production personnel.Proficient in the use of computer technologies such as Microsoftapplications. Solid interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Strong initiative and self-motivated individuals desired.
Education/ specialized training required: Preferredprevious experience in the maintenance field with a with a minimum of a highschool diploma or GED.Must havewritten and oral proficiency in the English language. SAP knowledge ispreferred for this position.

Physicalrequirements: Ability to walk, sit and/ or stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day. May be required to movethroughout production areas on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and be exposedto outside temperatures/weather. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
