Job Title: Rehab/Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Duties & Responsibilities: Rehab/MS Registered Nurse sought for 13 week assignment, with the potential to extend. Schedule would be 3x12 night shifts, with every other weekend/holiday required if needed. RN may be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse. Duties will include coordinating total nursing care of patients, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for prefessional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The EMR used is Cerner, and the nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 4/5. The hospital features 25 inpatient, medical-surgical beds and a renowned 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. Additionally, the hospital has a therapeutic pool and physical therapy department as well as acute care, transitional care, and hospice. Facility is a critical access community hospital and was named winner of the Foster G. McGaw Prize for Excellence in Community Service. Hospital is one of only two CARF accredited facilities in the State of Vermont.

Minimum Requirements
  • 2+ years recent Med Surg and Rehab experience
  • Charge RN experience
  • Previous travel experience (at least 3 months)
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • VT or Compact RN license
  • BSN preferred
