### Occupational Therapist - Future Role

Location: Chicago Area

Duration: Pending Contract Finalization

About the Role:

Strategic Innovations Consulting LLC is preparing for future staffing needs and is currently seeking talent for the position of Occupational Therapist. This proactive recruitment effort aims to create a pool of qualified candidates for an upcoming role. The Occupational Therapist will be instrumental in helping patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients physical, emotional, and social conditions to determine their specific therapy needs.

- Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

- Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques.

- Educate patients and their families on how to use adaptive equipment and perform exercises at home.

- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

- Collaborate with healthcare providers, caregivers, and family members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans and progress.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including HIPAA regulations.

- Utilize various therapeutic techniques and tools to enhance patient outcomes.

- Provide support and guidance to patients throughout their therapy process.

Ideal Candidate:

- Proven experience as an occupational therapist or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in developing and implementing occupational therapy treatment plans.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.

- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- Familiarity with occupational therapy terminology and procedures.

- Discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an occupational therapist or in a related role.

- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Illinois preferred.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in occupational therapy will be a plus.

- Experience with various therapeutic tools and platforms is desirable.

- Bachelor’s degree or completion of an occupational therapy program required.
