DescriptionSAIC is seeking a top-notch Electrical Engineer to join our talented team at Ft. Belvoir, VA. This position is responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise for design and construction projects at the Ft. Belvoir campus. To qualify, you must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.The ideal candidate will serve as the electrical lead within the facilities management organization and acts as the interface with 3rd party USG contracting representatives, design & construction contractors, Site Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support contractors, local utilities, and all other customers and stakeholders on relevant matters. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the five phases of the project life cycle to include requirements development, programming, design, construction, and closeout.Other Key Responsibilities:Act as liaison, reporting to & coordinating with USG representatives at multiple levelsReview and Comment ondesign documentation, operational procedures,and construction installations, ensuring projects meet the USG customers standardsCoordinate with the Sites Facilities O&Msupport contractor on site operation and resiliencyAnalyze power capacity and usage rates and trendsAssist in the evaluation of the electrical system related anomalies and perform root cause analysisIndependently review and provide response to electrical technical request for information (RFI), shop drawings, and construction submittals in support of construction effortsLead technically complex electrical engineering projectsDevelop and generate specifications, ROMs, SOWs, and estimates for projectsEnsure the USG receives valid cost proposalsSAIC is about Reaching Our Tomorrow.
