Gastro Health, LLC is seeking a Full-Time, Care Coordinator to join our Gastro Health Team. This position is for four, ten hours days.

Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for:
  • This position is a customer service and clerical support position
  • Performing duties that prepare the patient for office appointments and endoscopy procedures
  • This position is primarily responsible for scheduling and registration of patients for office visits, endoscopy procedures and schedules hospital procedures
  • Prepares patient registration and procedure preparation paperwork; greets, assists and checks in patients for appointments and procedures
  • Answers multiple telephone lines, screens calls and forwards as needed, returns voice messages
  • Schedules and reschedules appointments and procedures
  • Coordinates hospital procedures and records with hospital staff
  • Stocks clerical supplies; balances cash drawer/till
  • Collects registration data and completes logs
  • Completes insurance benefits authorization and insurance/other data entry in the medical record.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous medical reception, scheduling and/or customer service experience preferred
