Job DescriptionTao Group Hospitality offers competitive benefits for all full-time team members such as: Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage 401(k) Retirement Program with Employer Match Life and Disability Insurance Plans Ancillary Insurance Plans Mental Health Support and Services Fertility & Family Forming Support and Resources Pet Insurance Employee Discounts TAO Savings Marketplace Time off and much moreThe role of Maintenance Engineerwill be responsible for performing a routine to complex maintenance and repair work on all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems throughout the properties.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems throughout the properties Recognize equipment that needs repairs, adjustments, or replacement Apply paint using a roller, hand brush, or spray gun on all types of furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, etc. Installs and repairs wallpaper throughout the property Patch and prepare all surfaces for paint or wallpaper, including sheetrock patches, and refinishes all types of furniture Perform basic carpentry techniques necessary to maintain furniture and fixture such as tightening, gluing, touching-up finishes, adjusting, aligning, and assembling where necessary Diagnose defective machines and equipment. Install new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools Maintain equipment and logbooks Replace filters throughout properties as needed Possess extensive knowledge of repair and preventative maintenance of facilities equipment including kitchen equipment, gas, and steam, electrical and plumbing Move and reset furniture around for repairs Perform basic flooring repairs such as tiles, carpets, ceramic flooring, etc. Daily travel to various locations for installations, repairs, and maintenance Assist and/or complete additional tasks as assignedEDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE: High School Diploma Preferred Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer preferably in an industrial complex property Valid Driver's License 21+ years of age Experience in operating skyjack, forklift, scissor lift, or other heavy equipment Possess good working knowledge of HVAC systems Working knowledge of repair and preventative maintenance of facilities equipment, perception, and awareness of the maintenance goals and policiesSKILLS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULEThe work environment characteristics and/or physical demands described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
