GIS Analyst

ELM Utility Services is seeking a GIS Analystto join our Missoula Software Development team. We are open to candidates withexperience ranging from entry level to mid-career (0 to 5 years). Our teamcreates and maintains enterprise-class software used by our operations andcorporate groups for essential workflow and business management. Much of thissoftware involves one-to-many GIS components, this role would primarily befocused on supporting and developing those systems. Recent and Soon-to-begraduates encouraged to apply.

Preferred Competencies/Skills:
- Strong considerationwill be given to those with an analytical background (Math, Computer Science,Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Etc.) and demonstrated problem-solving skillsin at least one or more of these fields.
Additional Competencies:
- Codingskills for data manipulation (SQL, Python, R)
- Experiencewith GIS frameworks and/or Applications (ESRI, OSM, Google, QGIS)
- Experiencewith ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcGIS Online
- Comfortable with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Basic understanding ofdata pipelines
- Demonstrated competencywith ETL processes
- Abilityto work under pressure in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Anunderstanding of GIT and version control
- Automateeverything mindset
