NOW HIRING Speech Language Patholgist for 2024-2025 School Year:

Schedule: PRN, Part Time, or Full-Time- You decide how many hours you want to work

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Provide assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to students with communication disorders, including language, speech, voice, fluency, and pragmatic disorders.
•Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of students, in collaboration with school staff and parents.
•Provide consultation and training services to teachers and other educational professionals to improve their understanding of communication disorders and how to support student development.
•Document and maintain accurate and organized records of student progress, assessments, and treatment plans, according to school policies and professional standards.
•Attend and participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other school-based meetings to collaborate with colleagues and ensure that the students' needs are addressed.
•Stay informed about current research, trends, and best practices in communication disorders, and integrate this knowledge into the practice to improve services and outcomes for students.
•Maintain professional licensure and certification standards required by the state and national organizations.

Qualifications:
•Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
•State licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology.
•Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. CF's Welcome too
•Experience working with children with communication disorders in a school-based setting preferred.•Effective communication skills, oral and written.
•Knowledge of current research and best practices in communication disorders.
•Strong organizational and time-management skills.
