Are you passionate about enhancing lives? We are seeking a Rehab Director-Traveler to fill-in as the Rehab Director as needed by the organization. This position comes with a $2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS The Rehab Director-Traveler is responsible for the efficient operations of rehabilitation services in their assigned community. They will ensure the delivery of the highest standard and quality of rehabilitation services are delivered efficiently while obtaining the best possible outcomes for patients. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: In collaboration with the Regional Director of Operations, ensures the clinical management of the Rehab Department. Provides oversight related to case management, quality improvement, and care planning through the appropriate utilization of resources. Manages a team of therapists and assistants and assumes responsibility for daily staffing and utilization, including scheduling. Provides direct patient care and regularly achieves prescribed productivity standards of assigned discipline and location. Administers proper oversight of expenses (overtime, productivity, staff utilization, etc.) to optimize revenue in assigned location. Responds to and is available to facility needs. This may include on-occasion evenings and/or weekends. Promotes new program development with focus on functional outcomes to improve the quality of life of the patients served. Assists the Regional Director of Operations in the recruitment, interview process and orientation of Rehab Department staff. Oversees patient treatment productivity of therapy staff and addresses through coaching performance plans areas for improvement. Participates in marketing and community presentations and projects to promote the success of the company and assigned community. Qualifications: Successful completion of an accredited program for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Physical Therapist Assistant or Occupation Therapy Assistant Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Rehab Director or similar leadership role. Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on clinical experience in a therapy services role. Experience with Casamba/Net Health preferred. License/Certifications: Current v alid license or eligible for licensure to practice therapy (PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA) in applicable state(s). Travel: Ability to travel within assigned region as needed.
