Job Details Job Location DGM Houston Greens - Houston, TX Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Travel Percentage None Job Shift Day Job Category Warehouse Description Ideal Candidate is responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy facility by completing various tasks. This can include sweeping, mopping & vacuuming floors, disinfecting surfaces and restrooms, emptying trash and recycling cans, performing maintenance tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clean interior/exterior or warehouse building and supply warehouse areas to include dusting, sweeping floors, vacuum, mopping, clean windows and walls, restroom cleaning, painting, moving heavy object using Forklift, etc. Disinfect commonly used items in warehouse to include desks, door handles, phones and other tools Empty trash and recycling bins Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities. As a Maintenance supervisor require. Trim trees, cut yard, perform painting duties Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs. Make adjustments and minor repairs (forklift, truck etc.) Stock and maintain supply rooms. Assist other maintenance staff with larger projects or repair work when necessary. Carrying out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Follow all health and safety regulations. Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by the facilities or maintenance supervisor to support overall facility upkeep Qualifications QUALIFICIATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 1-2 years of working experience as a Janitor and Performing Maintenance Tasks in a Warehouse Environment. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently. High school diploma preferred. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Work with Safety First oriented. Customer Service Oriented Active involvement of continuous improvement initiatives Quality Focused Attention to Detail WORKING CONDICTIONS: Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly for the duration of a shift. Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects. Ability to work prolonged and/or irregular hours. Ability to work through stressful situations.
