Essentia Health seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to patients and contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the organization. Job Responsibilities: Provide personal hygiene care, assist with nutritional needs, and provide comfort care and other assistance to patients. Take vital signs, complete recordkeeping, and recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition to the RN. Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process. Must meet one of the following requirements: 6 months of nursing assistant experience Completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program Successful completion of an EH provided Nursing Assistant training within one month of hire Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry Job Location: Building D - Miller Dwan Medical Center Shift Rotation: Day/Eve Rotation Hours Per Pay Period: 64 Compensation Range: $16.39 - $21.65 / hour Union: Miller Dwan UFCW (MDUFC) FTE: 0.8 Weekends: yes Call Obligations: Sign On Bonus: $1,500 (restrictions may apply)
