A leading healthcare organization in Visalia is currently seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join their growing team.

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday
  • Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with the possibility to work extended hours as needed

Responsibilities:

The Physical Therapist (PT) will:

  • Evaluate and assess participants to determine mobility levels, physical conditions, and functional abilities.
  • Provide and recommend therapeutic exercises, gait training, ambulation, and other related therapies.
  • Plan and develop individual and group exercise programs for maintenance therapy for participants.
  • Develop and oversee functional maintenance programs.
  • Communicate data and information to the primary care staff and other Interdisciplinary team members.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in CA
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • CA drivers license
  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy if obtained prior to the year 2000; Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy if obtained after the year 2000

Desired Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and physical therapy best practices
