Job Description: Position Title: Program Manager IStart Date: February 20, 2024Length of Contract: 6 monthsLocation: Seattle WAOn-site - Primary location is international district in Seattle. This role will often need to travel to sites in Redmond and near the Stadium office as well.Role Mandate:The Program Manager (PM) will support the Quantified Wearability (QW) team in planning and executing high-volume human subjects research. The Quantified Wearability team is an applied research team whose research impacts stakeholders across *** Reality Labs. The PM will work with research engineers to define data collection projects, submit for internal/external approvals, coordinate project staffing and participant recruitment, and track project progress across multiple labs and sites. They will ensure that project activities and documentation meet company-defined Legal, Privacy and Ethical standards.Primarily, this individual will be steady planning, preparing project materials, project coordination end-to-end from preparation through to execution. On small projects, the individual will be running data collection, which includes covering approvals and working with vendors.Candidate Value Proposition:The individual will be supporting team in human subjects research, working with the product team across *** Reality Labs. The work environment and team culture is refreshing, there are opportunities to work on different projects, and there are weekly team meetings for project planning.Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):Interface with Research Engineers and UX Researchers to define and prepare data collection projectsUtilizing a study set up checklist and ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained, including safety, Legal and Institutional Review Board (IRB) approvalsDevelop and document study procedures and project or apparatus-specific training materialsUse internal purchasing tools to procure software and equipment. Coordinate with vendors and internal purchasing teams to track and push approvalsMaintain inventory of software and hardware across study sites and research personnelCoordinate projects and equipment at study sites. Maintain multi-site tracking flow updated at least weekly, tracking which study rooms and equipment are in use for which projectsInterface with Facilities, IT and Network infrastructure teams to ensure that study spaces have appropriate network and space configurations for research project needsUse a task tracking system to track approvals and project deliverables. Coordinate with research staff, vendors, and stakeholders for task updates. Own execution and communicate schedule adjustments clearly to stakeholdersMaintain a database of research participants and ensure that participant personally identifiable information (PII) is handled in strict compliance with data privacy standardsRequest, and coordinate Research Assistant (RA) assignments, and research staffing across the research project portfolioAssist the Quantified Wearability Team with study participant recruiting and scheduling, in-person data collectionAs needed, prepare solicitation materials (following standards and policies), lead the dissemination of those materials, and coordinate activities with recruiting firmsPerformance Measurement:Completing tasks, staying in communication with manager and stakeholdersMust-Have Skills:2-4 years of experienceExperience with hardware, on research projects or clinical settingProgram management or project coordination experienceExperience utilizing Microsoft Office and/or Google DocsPrevious experience in human subjects researchExperience understanding and communicating technical information to non-expertsExperience coordinating and collaborating across multiple teams, managing shared resourcesNice-to-Have Skills:Hardware, biometrics data collectionExperience with 3D scanning, optometric and/or Mocap technologiesExperience with quantitative data analysis and statisticsAbility to create clear presentations and reports suitable for different audiencesSoft Skills:Excellent communication skillsOrganizational and planning experienceAbility to learn new technologies quicklyEducational Requirements:Bachelor's degree in psychology, HCI, or a related field#J-18808-Ljbffr
