Overview:

The Pictsweet Company is growing We are currently seeking a Manager of Private Label Sales. The position has sales responsibility for Pictsweets growing retail private label business which represents a strategic segment for the company. This individual will be the day-to-day account manager and primary customer contact on behalf of Pictsweet. The individual is accountable to deliver specific sales goals including sales volume, profit, customer service, product distribution and new product launches.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with customer, distributor, and broker contacts to fully understand their business and anticipate their needs. Create an environment of trust, professionalism and mutual respect. This individual will own the customer relationship and serve as the primary contact between his/her customers and Pictsweet retail private label business.
  • Manage key accounts to include: developing monthly forecasts, tracking performance against objectives, and following-up on questions or concerns.
  • Conduct regular business reviews (internally and with key customers) to:
    • Identify opportunities to improve volume, profit or service for key accounts including assortment optimization, pricing recommendations, new product needs, and new service offerings.
    • Pinpoint root cause of issues and develop plans to address.
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of new programs including price changes, promotional activities, and new product launches.
  • Follow-up with multi-functional counterparts within Pictsweet to address customer needs in a complete and timely fashion.
  • Lead multi-functional innovation teams to create and launch new programs and products for Private Label business.
  • Comply with the administrative duties of the role in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university
  • 3-5 years selling experience. Private Label experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-driven with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to develop plans and follow through. Project management experience is preferred.
