Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Amada press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Select the appropriate tooling and materials for each job.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and tolerances.
  • Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines, including cleaning and lubricating parts.
  • Troubleshoot issues with machine operation and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and workflow.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a press brake operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to accurately measure and calculate dimensions.
  • Knowledge of different types of metal and their properties.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Visually inspect parts for cosmetic defects.
