Sound like you?Apply todayResponsibilitiesResponsibilities•Establishes quality standards by studying product and consumer requirements with industry standards, along with regulatory requirements. Maintains product quality by enforcing quality policies and government requirements.•Assures facility obtains and maintains SQFI Certification. Supports training, record-keeping, and maintenance of the food safety and quality programs.•Monitor the plant's pre-requisite programs to ensure compliance with standards.•Directs FSQA Assurance staff and is responsible for their development and performance.•Provides support, coaching, and training to all employees in food safety, lab, and quality programs.•Responsible for customer complaints, product release, and internal and external audits associated with the plant.QualificationsKnowledge - Skills - Abilities•3-5 Years in Quality Management•Bachelor's degree in food science or a related field•Excellent written/oral communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills•Strong Leadership skills, including well-developed communication and problem-solving skills.•Knowledge in food safety system recognized by GSFI (SQF, HACCP, BRC, FSSC 22000, etc.)•Knowledge of regulatory affairs, GMP, material qualifications, validation, and product launches preferred.•Computer Systems Knowledge: Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power point etc.)
