Role The creative team at David shapes how our brand shows up in the world from packaging to campaigns to content. Creative ensures everything we make feels elevated, culturally sharp, and unmistakably David. The Creative Director will play a critical role in bringing Davids brand to life across every channel. Youll build on the systems and identity already in place, helping to expand and refine them as the brand grows. This is a hands?on role where youll contribute to both the strategy and execution, ensuring our creative work is consistent, inspiring, culturally relevant, and ahead of the curve. Responsibilities Ensure brand alignment and creative direction is strong across visual, verbal, and experiential brand touchpoints including packaging, campaigns, social, retail media, and experiential activations. Drive the creative development of campaigns, photoshoots, and content creation across channels (social, paid, DTC, trade, email, OOH). Partner with the Director of Creative Operations to strengthen creative systems and processes that enable high-quality output at scale. Collaborate with designers, freelancers, and agency partners to deliver best?in?class creative assets. Collaborate cross?functionally with Growth/Marketing, Customer Experience, R&D, Supply Chain, and Retail teams to bring ideas to life and ensure creative alignment. Maintain and continually evolve brand guidelines, packaging architecture, and storytelling frameworks. Champion storytelling that resonates emotionally with consumers and builds long?term brand equity. Elevate the brand through its core values of beauty, intelligence, and discipline. Lead the charge in spotting cultural shifts and creative trends, ensuring Davids work stays fresh, relevant, and inspiring. What Youll Bring 6+ years of creative experience, with at least 2 years in a Creative Director or senior leadership role. Experience building brands at a high?growth CPG, DTC, or lifestyle brand (bonus if its in fashion, beauty, food, beverage, wellness, or performance). Strong, proven conceptual thinking and executional craft across visual, copy, and content, including both brand and growth?oriented marketing. Comfortable working in a fast?paced, lean environment with high creative and execution standards. Proficient with tools like Figma, Adobe, and basic video editing. Sharp eye for design and an intuitive sense of what makes a brand resonate. Portfolio of work demonstrating campaign thinking, brand development, and execution across formats. Deep network of photographers, directors, stylists, editors, and production vendors in NYC and LA. Self?starting attitude with a love for bringing ideas to life. Humility, self?awareness, and curiosity. A desire to help build an early?stage CPG company with a mission to create tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Practicalities Full?time, in?office role based in New York City. We work onsite five days a week. Compensation: $150??$245?K per year, dependent on experience. Includes bonus; salary may be traded for equity compensation. 100?% covered Health, Vision, Dental Insurance. 401(k) with 4?% match. Additional perks, such as covered gym expenses.
