Their customer base includes the military, government, industrial, and commercial markets across the globe. They manufacture top-tier shelter, environmental control, and fuel and water containment systems.
The Position
Our client is looking for Plant Controller to join their growing team
Primary responsibilities include:
* Manages financial records and audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Evaluates cost implications of product, material, and service changes.
* Analyzes manufacturing costs and implements cost control measures.
* Monitors spending, profit, and loss against forecasts, taking corrective actions as needed.
* Collaborates with plant management on cost reduction strategies and provides senior management with requested insights.
Qualifications and Candidate Background
The ideal candidate will have:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
* 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance in a manufacturing setting.
* Strong process improvement skills to enhance efficiency in financial reporting.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
* Deep understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
* Exposure with PE or experience working at a private equity-back company is preferred.
