CFS has partnered with an international non-profit organization in their search for a Staff Accountant to join their accounting and finance team on the South Shore of Massachusetts

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant
  • Manage Accounts Payable processes, including check issuance, prepaid schedules, and bank transfers.
  • Oversee petty cash, handle incoming electronic gifts, and reconcile Credit Card transactions.
  • Provide Accounts Receivable support and contribute to the month-end close and year-end audit.
  • The Staff Accountant will document processes, ensuring internal control compliance.
Qualifications for this Staff Accountant role
  • Bachelors degree in finance/accounting, with discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Nonprofit accounting experience and proficiency in NetSuite or similar software are desirable.
  • The Staff Accountant should be skilled in Excel and Word.
  • Requires a valid drivers license for occasional local travel.
