Description

Join CLX Engineering as a pivotal figure in our team, serving as a Senior Project Manager and acting as an airline (BHS) Owner's Representative. This role demands a unique fusion of industry acumen, adept project management capabilities, and technical proficiency to ensure the seamless execution of projects within the Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) sector.

Primary Duties:

  • Collaborate closely with CLX management and clients to navigate evolving project priorities, steering projects towards successful outcomes.
  • Attending all project meetings on site and making sure that the project milestones are being meet.
  • Leverage industry expertise to discern and prioritize tasks swiftly, fostering the smooth progression of projects amid shifting requirements.
  • While not directly involved in hands-on repairs, possess the know-how to resolve technical issues by engaging with appropriate resources.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and propose solutions for emerging challenges, preempting potential setbacks by instituting effective processes.
  • Maintain robust relationships with vendors, ensuring prompt task fulfillment.
  • Communicate project statuses comprehensively, adeptly conveying technical complexities and supervising problem resolution efforts.
  • Champion initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of control systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify control component issues, bolstering system functionality.
  • Exhibit strong technical writing skills, proficiently delivering reports and documentation.
  • Foster collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Offer expert guidance on optimizing BHS systems and addressing operational hurdles during project implementation.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive background in airport operations, particularly with baggage handling systems.
  • Thrives in challenging environments, adept at identifying and seizing opportunities.
  • Proficient in PLC programming, capable of discerning and rectifying suboptimal code. Not a must
  • Prior experience in material handling or specialized knowledge of airport BHS.
  • Skilled in interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints, offering valuable insights and potential modifications.
  • Ability to cultivate teamwork dynamics while also excelling independently.
  • Proficient with electrical and control devices, including safety protocols and equipment handling.
  • Competent in utilizing hand and powered tools, along with electrical testing devices.
  • Familiarity with common computer software and professional applications like AutoCAD and PLC programming software.
  • Resides within commuting distance of Hartford Jackson International Airport (ATL).
