Clerical Assistant Duties and Responsibilities: * Collecting hard copy documents stored in multiple locations on the site and sort them by type and department. * Work with each department's designated contact person to decide which documents need to be digitized and which ones need to be designated shred. * Work with each department's designated contact person to determine which system/location the electronic copies are to be stored in and input them into the correct system/location. * Shred and dispose of all documents designated shred. * Meet weekly with the site representative (Maintenance Manager) to review and discuss progress, bottlenecks and/or support needed to keep the process moving efficiently and effectively. * Comply with all safety policies and procedures as you complete your daily tasks. Qualifications: * High School Diploma * Highly organized and detail oriented * Ability to drive continuous progress on the tasks * Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Team player with good communication skills Preferred * Experience working with document management systems * Experience working with SAP * Experience with recognition of the different file types e.g. P&ID's, Drawings, Manuals ect.
