Parts Shipping And Receiving Clerk As a Parts Shipping And Receiving Clerk at Lexus, you'll oversee inbound and outbound parts operationsunloading, inspecting, documenting, and organizing inventorywhile also preparing customer orders and dealership shipments. You'll operate forklifts, manage DMS documentation, coordinate with service teams and carriers, and help maintain clean, efficient warehouse operations. Delivering parts to technicians and to designated areas. Responsibilities: Receiving: Unload and inspect incoming parts, ensure accuracy vs. orders/invoices, document damages or shortages, coordinate returns to vendors Shipping: Pick, pack, prepare and ship parts (dealers or end-customers via webstore/Amazon/eBay), verify shipment specs meet requirements Inventory Management: Maintain accurate bin labels, track parts/materials, manage storage areas, update records in the DMS system Equipment Operation: Use forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently Communication & Logistics: Coordinate with shippers, parts runners, technicians, and service department to ensure proper routing and delivery of parts. Count/weigh parts on incoming/outgoing shipments and match them against invoices or orders Determine shipping methods, routes, and rates Unpack/examine, reject if damaged, report shortages Maintain shipping/receiving documentation and delivery logs Keep work areas organized, bins labeled, ensure cleanliness Coordinate and update customers with tracking info for parts shipped from webstores Assist the service department (e.g., delivering parts to techs, moving cars, etc.) This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of JM Family.
