POSITION SUMMARY:

Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Prepare work to be accomplished by following direction given verbally and/or reading assembly instructions, engineering drawings, parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

? Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurement.

? Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.

? Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.

? Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

? Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

? Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

? Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

? Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

? Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

? Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

? High School Diploma preferred, but not required.

? Must know how to read and use a measuring tape.

? Power tools experience preferred.

? Manufacturing Experience preferred, but not required

? Must be able to prioritize and exercise independent judgment.

? Reliable transportation.

? Bilingual preferred, English speaking required.

? Must be available to work full-time and overtime.

? Team player.

PHYSICIAL DEMANDS:

? Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs.

? Stand for long periods of time.

? Ability to bend, stoop, and squat.

? Ability to work with arms above head.

? Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
