**Job Title: Janitorial Supervisor****Job Description**We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the activities of cleaning workers in a warehouse environment. This role involves ensuring a safe working environment, monitoring employee productivity, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.**Responsibilities**+ Coordinate activities of cleaning workers or service employees engaged in cleaning and maintaining warehouse environments.+ Ensure a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.+ Monitor employee productivity and provide suggestions for increased service or productivity.+ Coordinate routine responsibilities of subordinates and assign specific work or functional activities as directed by on-site management.+ Responsible for orientation and training of employees.+ Perform day-to-day assignments in addition to lead duties.+ Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in areas such as quality, service, and problem resolution.+ Take an interest and initiative in the development of the facilities team.+ Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.+ Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.+ Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.+ Apply all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.+ Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.+ Attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.+ Apply complex skills appropriate for the position.+ Adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to meet the requirements of the position.+ Apply knowledge of department policies and procedures and utilize a general understanding of other departments' functions.+ Typically lead 3 to 10 employees.+ May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.**Essential Skills**+ Experience in janitorial, custodial, or environmental services.+ Proficiency in dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.+ Strong skills in inventory management and customer service.+ Knowledge of floor care, sanitation, and environmental service procedures.+ Ability to apply OSHA and local safety requirements.+ Experience in training and overseeing employees.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**+ Experience in restaurant food service or customer service is a plus.+ Ability to adapt procedures and processes to meet the position's requirements.+ General understanding of other departments' functions.**Why Work Here?**We are looking to rebuild our team, offering contractors the opportunity to grow along with the organization. Supervisors will be hands-on, leading the team and helping to train and oversee the daily tasks of employees.
