The Senior Manager of Social Media will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Titans social media department, leading social strategy implementation, and upholding brand standards across all the organizations social media channels. This role will live within the Titans Brand and Creative team and manage the Social Media Manager, Social Media Coordinator, and the Social Fellow/Intern. This individual will be an empathetic leader and collaborator with a passion for social media and football. Additionally, the ideal candidate is preferred to have previous sports experience, people/team management, and a positive social footprint. Responsibilities: Lead and supervise social media team in day-to-day executions and content processes across all social media platforms Assist in creating the brand identity for all organizational social accounts and help guide the social voice, tone and messaging in alignment with brand/business goals Ensure brand standards and consistency are upheld on all social platforms Establish, own and oversee the brand content calendar to ensure deadlines are met and performance is strategically optimized Collaborate with all arms of the creative team (Video, Photo, Design, Project Management, and Broadcast) to request, plan and execute content - making sure social is properly accounted for and integrated into larger objectives Oversee and own content planning, workflows, copy proofing, and publishing across Titans social media channels Work closely with Corporate Partnership team to develop and pitch new ideas for sponsored content in a way that is engaging to Titans fans Work closely with Director of Social Media and Influencer Marketing as well as team senior leaders to develop and align social strategy with business objectives, new stadium opening and other brand milestones Ensure Titans content aligns with NFL initiatives and campaigns while meeting the organizations brand guidelines Explore any/all new and emerging platforms that could be utilized by the team Stay on top of emerging social media trends and consistently integrate new opportunities for the organizations social presence Collaborate closely with other internal stakeholders to ideate and execute around League tentpole events Contribute to department team effort by collaborating internally to help achieve broader objectives, bringing positive attitude and strong work ethic to help the Titans become a best-in-class social media content team within sports Assist in mentoring full-time employees and interns, providing feedback and aiding in professional development Consistently promote a culture of collaboration and accountability Qualifications: 5-8 years of experience in social media/content management, ideally in the sports or entertainment industry Bachelors degree in a related field Strong understanding of internet culture and emerging social media platforms/trends Experience with social content tools (e.g. Slate, Emplifi) Comfortable working within a content management system Thrive in a team setting where it is required to work and interact with several different departments on a daily basis Ability to work within strict deadlines, under high-pressure situations and comfortable multi-tasking independently Problem solver that can see the larger, strategic picture while not losing sight of the day-to-day details Strong copywriting, communication, time-management and organizational skills Must be driven, enthusiastic and a creative team player motivated to create high-caliber content Passion for helping the Tennessee Titans become a best-in-class social media content team within sports Flexible schedule required to successfully complete job requirements, including nights, weekends, early mornings, holidays and travel NO PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS, PLEASE.
